Lila began their artistic career in their grandmother’s apartment, making potato prints with craft paint.

Art was always a part of their childhood, promoted by their father, and has continued well into their adulthood. Lila’s central artistic themes revolve around the natural world. Getting their start as an outdoor photographer (taking pictures of birds at the feeder while stuck inside during COVID), Lila’s work has evolved into an ever growing, ever changing, and ever flowing landscape.

Lila most often uses light and its interaction with outdoor spaces and nature to capture unique compositions. They are especially interested in naturally occurring patterns and geometry, often snapping a pic on a whim with whatever camera of choice they have on them. Lila works on the east coast, living in Richmond, Virginia but making a point of traveling as much as possible.
